Shri Anil Makariye visited the proposed Mitmita Safari Park site in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to review the project and attend a detailed presentation on the proposed development. The visit was aimed at assessing the project’s vision, planning, and its potential to enhance the city’s tourism and recreational infrastructure.
During the inspection, Shri Makariye reviewed the proposed plans and emphasized the importance of developing the safari park as a world-class, environmentally sustainable destination. He stated that the project has the potential to promote eco-tourism, preserve the natural environment, and provide citizens with a modern and attractive recreational space for families, children, and nature enthusiasts.
Shri Makariye instructed the concerned authorities to ensure that every aspect of the project is executed with the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. He stressed that the development should focus on creating a well-planned, environmentally friendly facility that meets the expectations of citizens while contributing to the city’s long-term growth and tourism potential.
He further highlighted that such projects play a significant role in improving the quality of urban life by providing green spaces, encouraging environmental awareness, and creating new opportunities for tourism and economic development in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The site inspection was attended by Mayor Mr. Sameer Rajurkar, Deputy Mayor Mr. Rajendra Janjal, Leader of the Opposition Mr. Sameer Sajid, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Amol Yedge, Chief Garden Officer Mr. Vijay Patil, along with Municipal Corporation officials.
