As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen civic infrastructure and improve public services, Shri Anil Makariye visited various wards under Zone 5 and Zone 6 to review the local conditions and assess the status of essential civic works.
During the visit, special attention was given to drain cleaning and solid waste management. Shri Makariye inspected the sanitation arrangements in the area and directed the concerned Municipal Corporation officials to ensure regular and timely cleaning of drains and the efficient collection and disposal of waste.
Emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment, he instructed the authorities to carry out sanitation work in a systematic and time-bound manner. He also stressed the need for continuous monitoring of cleanliness activities so that citizens can benefit from improved hygiene, better public health, and a cleaner urban environment.
Shri Makariye reaffirmed that effective sanitation and proper civic maintenance are essential for enhancing the quality of life of residents. He assured citizens that their concerns would continue to receive priority and that every effort would be made to ensure efficient implementation of civic services across all wards.
