As part of the city’s pre-monsoon preparedness, Shri Anil Makariye visited the N-9 area under Zone 5 to inspect the ongoing drain cleaning work and review the progress of sanitation activities.
During the inspection, Shri Makariye assessed the condition of the drainage system and emphasized the importance of completing all drain cleaning works well before the onset of the monsoon. He directed the concerned officials to ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and within the stipulated timeframe to prevent waterlogging, improve drainage, and maintain cleanliness across the area.
He further instructed the Municipal Corporation authorities to closely monitor the progress of the work and ensure that all drains are thoroughly cleaned to safeguard public health and minimize inconvenience to residents during the rainy season. Maintaining clean surroundings and strengthening the city’s sanitation infrastructure remain key priorities in ensuring a safer and healthier environment for citizens.
Shri Makariye reiterated his commitment to continuous monitoring of civic works and ensuring that development and sanitation projects are implemented effectively for the benefit of the people of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
